Google Street View static images

As you may have noticed, the embedded Street Views sometimes do not load properly. This is because of either too many calls being made from each webpage, or the WordPress has a problem trying to embed so many in one page.

I’ve started to use the Google Street View API to embed a static image taken live from Street View itself. This reduces page load times and also guarantees that all Street View images load correctly.

Once each image is placed on the site, I’ve also made it clickable, opening a new browser tab with the Street View full-screen.
